It is overcast today, but a little warmer. More snow is melting from the walking paths and the streets. We took a pleasant little walk to the Brown's apartment to pick up some items that they were giving away. (They were kicked out of their apartment with just three months to go. But they found another one and are moving in today). We got an oscillating fan, some baking pans and a glass pitcher. We walked for about 10 minutes in the wrong direction, then made the course correction and probably walked about 1 hour in all. We washed sheets (as you can see from the pictures), mopped the floors, had lunch, and now mom is making cranberry nut bread and I am going to start on some church stuff (that I didn't get done Friday, because we left at noon to do some shopping).

We cancelled our trip to Rosinka. It was just going to take more time than we had. Remember it takes about and hour to one and a half hours to get anywhere. If we stay a hour or two, that can take 5 hours or more.
But we do have a mini turkey defrosting that we hope to have for tomorrow. Its only 5 pounds. It looks like a chicken on steroids!! I hope it tastes like a turkey!
