We got to everybody but my mother yesterday. The line was busy and by the time we checked in one last time it was 10:30 and we were ready for bed!
It sounded like everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Gadgets still seemed to be the order of the day, from DVD players to Wii from Nintendo. We were a little less techno-focused this year, buying artsy things instead. Of course, if we would have been home, I would be setting up our new Macintosh computers. I guess we will have Christmas at Easter this year!
We had a great time, as always, with the seniors yesterday at the Rees's apartment. We had some great soup and lots of fun snacks. We were home by 7:30 and on the phone or skyping with members of the family.
Today, it is back to the grindstone. We will work next Monday and Tuesday, then we will be off for the rest of the week. Wednesday we will go to the Nutcracker. I will be back at work the next Tuesday, for a series of video conferences with the Mission Presidents. Chris will have a little down time by herself. She will love every minute of it!
More later.
