Headed for Gorky Park

Tomorrow is District Conference in Moscow. We will go to the adult meeting on Saturday evening at 6:00, and the Sunday session at 10:00 a.m. Before that we will go with the Irelands, and perhaps the Masons, to Gorky Park. The Mason's, if they don't go with us tomorrow to Gorky Park (they are going to Ismayla in the morning), we will meet them later in the day for a hamburger near the Central Building, where the conference is being held.

We had a good week. Jonathan provided a very important service for us this week. He was able to enter more than 700 patrairchal blessings into our data base that we had begun to organize the previous week. This data base will provide a report to show us how well we are doing getting the blessings transcribed and distributed to members. We have quite a backlog at the present, but hope to whittle that down over the next couple of months.

We also made some good progress on defining our office process. We now have a book that describes the processes, the forms, reports and files where items are kept. This will help when new people assume positions and it will also help us to improve our processes and provide better overall service to the Area. We have about 7 of the most important processes drafted todate.

We had our little group here Wednesday to study Russian. Jonathan was our instructor. We studied the first articles of faith in Russian.

We will give you a report on Gorky Park tomorrow!!
