The International Spring Classical Music Festival

Last night we went to the International Spring Classical Music Festival, organized by Elena Nechiporova our Public Affairs Director. It was a wonderful concert. Other than the seniors thinking the concert was over...again...at the break!! But we didn't leave the theater this time. The concert started at 6:30 and went until 9:00.

It was still light when we got out. Here is picture of one of the Seven Sisters buildings taken across the street from the metro, at about 9:30!!

When we got off the metro, there was no McDonalds, so we had to eat from the street. I had a Russian Burrito of some kind, that was very tasty. Chris had some warm flat bread. The temperature was somewhere in the low forties, with a misting rain. Today it was more of the same, except it was a steady rain. That has been the pattern for about the last week. We are looking forward to warmer weather again, at the end of next week.

The Irelands had accompanied us to church last week and accepted the wards invitation to go to Rosinka for a picnic. But the weather is a little too frightful for a picnic, so we decided to stay in and have them for dinner instead. They should be here in about a half an hour. So I will close. I am sure that my sweetie has things for me to do.

Also, Chris has me check the email every thirty minutes or so. She is waiting for a picture of our new grandbaby...Gregorio!!
